Blue Jacket's mission is to provide training and opportunities to anyone with a barrier who is striving to earn gainful employment. Blue Jacket is a nonprofit organization that believes anyone with a barrier to employment will be restored with hope and provided capacity to obtain and retain employment because of Blue Jacket's vast network and resources of support. Blue Jacket strives to fill a gap in workforce services for anyone with a barrier by building confidence and independence, providing transitional job opportunities, and working toward 100% employment, and providing professional clothing to Blue Jacket students. Blue Jacket achieves these goals through the Academy and operating social enterprises to hire people in-house who require additional skill development. The enterprises are Blue Jacket Cleaning, Blue Jacket Clothing Co, Blue Jacket Staffing, Renew by Blue Jacket, Tall Rabbit Café, and Blue Jacket's Fantasy of Lights. The organization self-funds through earned income, fundraising events, and grants.
